I was born and raised in Kerala, India. During my early teen years, I did not consider myself a leader. Instead, I was a timid boy. I was afraid even to stand up in class and recite a poem before my English teacher!
I did not know that God had a specific purpose for my life. Of course, I enjoyed Sunday School classes and Vacation Bible Schools. In one of those meetings, I committed my life to Jesus as my Lord and Savior. I did not realize then that this was the new beginning of an extraordinary journey with Jesus.
I liked attending revival gatherings. I often witnessed healings, miracles, and deliverances during these meetings when the Good News of Jesus Christ was proclaimed. In one such gathering, I was empowered by the Holy Spirit. My spiritual senses were opened to experience the love of God the Father, and timidity lost its hold on me.
I got involved in youth ministry during and after my undergrad and graduate studies. I worked as a staff member with the Inter-Collegiate Prayer Fellowship in India for three years, ministering among young people. Through Glorious Living Ministries, a non-profit platform I co-launched with my wife Ancy and led for 10+ years in India, many young lives were reached with the gospel through creative outreaches. Many Spirit-empowered young leaders were also raised.
Subsequently, I focused more on developing leaders through my training platform. As a result, many lay, missional, and marketplace leaders and professionals were equipped. During this process, I sensed the need to develop a leadership training program integrating biblical and leadership principles. Besides, I witnessed the work of the Holy Spirit happening in the lives of marketplace leaders. This experience encouraged me to pursue doctoral studies in this area, which I am currently engaged in at Oral Roberts University, USA, through the Doctor of Ministry program.
This story is continuing. To Jesus, my Lord and Savior, be all the glory!
All things come from him. All things are directed by him. All things are for his praise. May God be given the glory forever! Amen. (Romans 11:36 NIRV)
