I heard this story about a young man riding an old Ford car. On the way, it broke down. He tried to repair it, but nothing worked.
After a while, an older man came that way. Seeing the young man’s sad state, he asked whether he could help him. The young man joyfully agreed.
The older man did something on the engine, and it suddenly began working again. Amazed, the young man asked how he could quickly solve the problem. The old man replied, “I am Henry Ford. I am the one who manufactured this car!”
As we see in this story, we need wisdom to lead our personal and professional lives well. The Bible says, “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.” (James 1:5 NKJV).
Sometimes, our expertise and advice from others do not help solve problems. During such times, we can ask the Lord for His wise insights. His counsel will always work wonders.
